I'm here to answer this question. Smile

I'm sure some of you are like how do I install files that I download from web pages such as. www.peggysims2.net OR! Smile

www.SoSweetSims.com . Because these Downloads are not the same as the Downloads from MTS or The origenal sims2 Maxis site. Every time I click on it I get a message asking me if I want to Down load a program to read the files?! Or an Error message what do I do?! WELL! Smile

It's very simple and one of my favorite things to do. Wink

SO! I'm gonna answer that here. Smile

OKAY! Lets get started with our how to!

Step one: Find your Downloads folder. Smile

If you do not have one I will tell you where to make one. Smile

It will usually be located in:

Documents and Settings\ My Documents\ EA Games \ The Sims 2

As shown in the picture posted below. Smile

Except my picture has an extra and looks like
C:Documents and Settings\BlueIzumi\ My Documents\ EA Games \ The Sims 2

The C: Is because I have 2 hard drives. Smile

An the BlueIzumi is because my dad is an idiot. Very Happy

Yours may say something like KatieZ Or Olivia Reveras.... That is just the name your computer is assigned under. Smile

Do not worry. Smile

If your game does not already have a DL's Folder! Go directly where I have directed Right click! An pick new folder! Then name the folder " Downloads " Copy and past what I have just put in the quotes. Smile

It must be exactly the same or it will not work Smile

Step 2: This install. Smile

I suggest if you are starting out making small folders inside your Downloads folder to help keep it organized. Like say a Folder titled FemaleBodyMeshes That will Make it easier for your folder to find the stuff it needs to run. Smile

Pluse easier for you when it comes time to clean it up. Smile

MOVING ON! Now! Make sure you have opened your zip or rar file. Smile

Then click and drag the iteams from the zip or rar to the folder you have or have just created. Smile

As displayed below

You should get this ending result. Smile
